Front-load washers are fantastic because they allow you to wash larger loads while also saving water. However, they may occasionally cease working properly and display error codes.

What does OE stand for?

Examine the drain hose

Step 6: Using a flat screwdriver, open the washer door and remove the band clamp that keeps the door below in place. Pull the boot away from the front panel and into the washer tub gently. The door lock assembly does not need to be removed. Simply detach the wiring harness from the bottom of the unit by pulling it straight down. Close the door to the washer.
Step 7: Remove the four screws from the top of the cabinet. Before removing the last screw, make sure the front panel and door assembly are supported. After you’ve removed all of the screws, simply tilt it forward and raise it slightly up to disengage the three tabs along the bottom.
Set aside the front panel and door assembly. The drain pump motor is placed on the bottom left, and it may have two or three hoses connecting to it, depending on your model. A few bolts or a sliding locking tab can also be used to secure it to the base.
Next, unscrew the clamp from each hose and twist the hoses away from the pump. Remove the remaining screws holding the drain pump in place after the hoses have been removed and placed aside. Remove the bolts from the metal bracket that holds the pump assembly if your model has one.
There will be a little locking tab under the center rear of the pump housing that must be disengaged if there is no bracket. You’ll need to disconnect the electrical harness once you’ve removed the pump component. As you remove the wires from the pump, keep the colors in mind.
Remove three screws to separate the pump motor from the pump body. Remove the existing motor’s cover after that. Remove the old motor and replace it with the new pump motor inside the cover before putting the washer back together.
