How to find all Moon Tears flowers in Nier: Automata
There are five moon tears in the game:
Tear # 1: Shopping Center – from the entrance, look behind the escalator near the trees;
Tear # 2: Forest Zone – In a cave south of the main entrance;
Tear # 3: Park Ruins. Walk down the central part of the ruins, then turn right and enter the area with the vending machine (vending machine). The Moon Tear will be in the back right corner;
Tear # 4 – Desert. Note the large rocky hill in the center of the level. There is a narrow cave, through which you have to go and, going upstairs, make a long jump to the platform, which will be above your head. You will need to get to the dried up tree and the Tear will be to the right of it;
Tear # 5 – Flooded Coast. Go south of the zone, towards the coast. Look at the lowest point of the zone and be sure to notice the glow.
Elevator Key in Shopping Center

Continue going towards Desert Housing, and to the left of the entrance find the Filthy Mask between two rock formations.
Turn in the first 3 items, and then go to the area south of the researcher for 4-th item Statue of a Girl. A group of enemies levels 38-40 attacks you when you do, featuring outfits out of Westerns.
The inimitable Wandering Couple is hidden among the one-off quests of the “give-and-get” type.
After five hours of playing Nier: Automata – Yoko Taro”s sad robot simulator – I ended up dropping those that had filled the minimap. After I went to the distant desert for the third time to exchange the things I found there for trivial resources and crooked dialogues, I disowned the desperate “offerors” of quests around me as an unnecessary filler, and followed the main path of androids and explosions. which hooked me from the first minute of the game.
Then something funny happened. When I realized that I was lacking a level for certain missions in the late game – you know who I mean, you bastards with drills – I had to go back to side quests to earn some free XP. And although the vast majority of them did not bring any admiration, I found the quest that managed to capture the spirit and imagination of the main story of the game: “The Wandering Couple”. Of course, it was still “bring it up,” even annoying. But it demonstrates a strange sense of humor mixed with themes of free will and the nature of existence – materials that immediately pulled me into the shattered world of Nier.
The quest was so good that it inspired me to complete each of the game”s 60 side missions, without exception. Most of them are a waste of time, but every player must find this curious pair.
They are very easy to overlook and are hidden in one of the inconspicuous corners of Pascal”s Machine Village. They ask you to bring an intricate gadget from an abandoned factory to fix the man”s “motor functions.” When you deliver this, you will find them again in a flooded city, where a female robot forces a man to ask for a huge amount of money in order to cross the ocean and escape forever.
When you pay them over 50 thousand, you can assume that the quest is over and forget about it. Upon returning to the flooded city, you find out that a certain Emancipator has tricked the couple. After you run through the game world to fix these two, the couple will speculate about their future, the woman will assume that they reformat each other, return to the Resistance and start all over again.
In the end, the man agrees and 9S reformats him. But when he tries to do the same to her, she will reveal a secret: all these racing games were needed in order to turn a man into a fighting model, so that “they did not have to run from anyone else.” While 9S is shocked by the news, the woman casually admits that she has done this six times already, and “it has never been a problem.” After that, she showered you with gifts and left, for sure to “pump” him to the point that he will have all the features of an ideal man.
Throughout Nier, 2B and 9S shed blood, sweat and oil in the fight against the ongoing disaster of the machines to make life on the planet safe for humans again. However, like the whole plan of the robot woman, all their efforts were in vain – people had long since died out. Instead of rebuilding it the first time, the woman in the side quest comes up with excuse after excuse for her partner to restart himself. Although they both suffer from her schemes, in her understanding it is more than a way to pass the time, just as the endless war with the machines is just bait for the YorHA units to keep working.
Just like the woman and her partner, 2B and 9S are drawn into an endless circle, and I don”t mean just the game”s looping narrative. As the ending of the game shows, 9S learned the truth about the death of humanity several times, and 2B had to kill him and erase his memory each time to hide the terrible truth. From a game standpoint, no one can do anything about this turn of events. After all, it”s just that they are programmed that way. This refers to one of the main questions of Nier: does the woman decide to restart her partner and improve him because of the freedom of choice, or does she just carry out her routine duties, deprived of feelings and free will?
In the real ending of the game, the two robots reflect on this, and 042 realizes that even after this whole circle that has already happened, they cannot “deny the possibility” that these same tragedies could happen again. But facing these disasters, they still recover data through waves of fire in the final credits, they are confident that the androids deserve a second chance to overcome their nature. As with the wandering couple, it is unclear if they will get out of the vicious circle. But as the female robot said, it”s still worth a try.

“You heard from a resident of Pascal” s Village of a great treasure hidden in the forest. Go see if there is any truth to the rumors. “
“Search for a door in the forest castle that matches the key.”
“A rampaging machine has appeared. It looks like there” s something ahead. “
“The hidden treasure turned out to be storage media containing the forest kingdom” s history, made by its machine lifeforms as a show of gratitude to the original Forest King. When you told this to the villager, he recalled a time long ago when he had been shunned by the kingdom “s denizens for his strange speech. He was filled with delight that the grave” s guardian had been destroyed, and he wished death upon the entire Forest Kingdom. “

Treasure Hunt at the Castle Walkthrough
This quest unlocks after the main quest Report on A2 has been completed. To pick it up, go to the gate between Machine Village and Forest Zone and talk to the weird-talking machine.Go to the Forest Castle and go forward, then up, drop down a level and continue until you find a chest with a “junk” machine part Make to the rightmost room and go up to the highest level you can get, then find a ledge to dash across to grab another junk part. Go to where Masamune is and dash across the broken bridge to the right as you exit masamune “s shop. Continue going right until you find the last piece
Once you have all 3 parts, your pod will inform you that they can be used as a key. From here, go back up to the level of the Royal Chamber, and go right past the bridge with the Link Type machine. Backtrack until you arrive at the library. On this floor find the ladder going down, and find two more floors to go down to. The exit to the door will be on the third floor of the library, only accessible from ladders above it.
As you find the right floor, you will notice an open window with a tree root you can walk out of towards a gigantic door. A level 48 machine with a tower shield will confront you. After the encounter, approach the King “s remains and read his gravestone to obtain an
In the prologue, you will be trained in the mechanics of the game NieR: Automata. From the very beginning, you will find yourself in the heat of the battle. After the introductory cut-scene, you will take control of your flying machine and fight off the robots. Use the R1 button to fire the cannons, and R2 will help you dodge the balls flying at you. Also, using the triangle, you will attack with a cutting blow – it helps a lot if the enemies got too close to you or lined up.
Having dealt with the first group of enemies, you will be transformed into an airplane. Fly carefully through all the obstacles fighting off robots along the way. Having dealt with the robots and having flown a few more dangerous places, the plane will crash against the wall. And then control will go directly to 2B already in the location Abandoned factory(Abandoned factory).
In this location, your training will continue (for those who played the demo version of the game, it will not be difficult to go through the location). And your first opponents will be small robots. Remember: this is training, the further you progress through the game, the stronger your enemies will be. They are very slow, but if they come up, they will begin to wave their arms quickly, some models can shoot energy balls – in general, these opponents can be very irritable, especially if you are not careful. After small robots, larger robots will attack you – they already do decent damage and move faster than smaller brothers. After destroying opponents, the first boss battle awaits you – Buzzsaw.
It is a giant crane with buckets rotating at the end. It may seem at first glance that it looks intimidating, but in fact, it is quite simple to destroy it. Dodge and run away from attacks (while shooting at the boss), after the buckets stop, attack with your sword, destroying the buckets.
Follow this simple tactic and defeat the car. After that, a cut-scene will start, where you will meet your future partner 9S.
After talking with an ally, run into the area that opens up for you. To cross the cliff, shoot the yellow crane from above to make yourself a bridge. As soon as the platform falls, flying robots will attack you – it can be difficult to reach them with a sword, but for such cases you have a Pod. Having figured it out, run further, just do not miss the turn to the right. After turning the corner, destroy the small robots, and then climb the stairs up to the mechanical door. After going through the door, you will need to destroy the robots. This time there will be many more. After killing them, move on to the next similar arena. There robots with shields will be waiting for you, which means that your bullets will be ineffective, but a few blows with a sword are enough, and the shield will be destroyed. Having cleared this area, you leave through the opened door. After leaving the building, go up the stairs. Once on the platform with the chest, search it and go downstairs. At the bottom, continue to run further along the long bridge, this way you will start the cutscene and fight with the boss.
At first, the battle with him will take place in the same way as with the first boss, but in a slightly complicated version. Now there are two such cranes, it is more difficult to escape from them. But the path to victory is still easy – during his attack, run away and shoot, when the blades do not move, attack with the sword. After destroying them, you will proceed to the battle with Goliath (Goliath).
His first attack will be the launch of numerous energy balls (be careful – the dark balls cannot be destroyed). After he will hit you with his mechanical hand (sometimes with two at once), after this attack, hit him with a sword. After taking away a large amount of the boss”s health, 9S will join you. The boss himself will become stronger, but in addition to the increased damage, he will dive under the water, at this moment run towards the camera. When Goliath has a quarter of his health left, he will injure your partner, and he will turn off. After watching the cut-scene, climb onto the giant robot. Having defeated several small robots, a cut-scene will begin, and after it – the final stage of the battle. This time you will control a flying machine. Now it”s even easier to fight the giant robot. In the end, you just have to finish off Goliath with his own hand.
After completing the prologue, you will find yourself on board the Bunker – this is the YoRHa space station and also their main base. There are all the necessary private rooms for androids, a command post for communication with the Earth and terminals with various goods.
Having defeated Goliath, the cutscene will begin, and after it you will find yourself directly on board the spaceship. Run to the right and talk to your partner 9S, and then watch the explanatory video and adjust the game parameters (language, brightness, etc.). After finishing the setup, leave the room and run to the right. After a few meters, you will find access points – in them you can save the game, read the message and quickly move to another access point (it will open later). Having survived, go to the next door, it leads to the command headquarters, go downstairs on the lift and talk to the commander. From her you will receive a new task – you will go to the resistance camp on Earth. Before you go there, search the rooms – you can find useful things in them, and also buy first-aid kits in the terminal, if necessary. After finishing your preparations, take the elevator (marked with a red dot on the map) to the hangar and board your plane. Before you land on Earth, you will need to defeat several squads of combat vehicles.
The City Ruins
Having landed on the roof of the building, in a small video you will be shown the nearest neighborhood, and then they will show you a tip about the mini-map. And the first thing you need to do is go downstairs. You can just jump, but remember to hold down the jump button so the Pod will slowly lower you down. But it”s better to move to the adjacent building and go down there by jumping into the holes in the floor, all because in this building you can find useful items by searching the floors. After going down, you can freely explore the open area, destroy weak enemies to gain experience, and also fish if you find a pond.
After exploring the surroundings, go to the resistance camp (it will be marked on the map), on the way to it, do not forget to activate the access points (marked on the map with a red dot) to get information about the area and save. After reaching the camp, talk to their leader Anemone. From her you will receive an assignment – to help two merchants in the camp. Talk to the marked merchants and agree to help them. After that, go to the marked places and destroy the robots there to get the necessary resources. After collecting them, return to the camp and give the resources to the merchants. They will now be able to trade with you. After completing the assignments of Anemone, talk to her and agree to go to the desert (the entrance there will be marked after you leave the camp). Before heading there, be sure to save yourself and stock up on first aid kits.
The path to the desert is not close, first you need to cross the city ruins, on the way you may come across weak enemies. Run to the northern part of the map to a small camp with a merchant and an access point. Go past the camp, further – through the cave. Go further through the buildings littered with sand to the android named Jackass (the pipeline will lead you to it). After talking with her, go through the passage made by the explosion. A real desert begins behind the gorge.
All the same robots live here, but with their own characteristics. Now they wear masks, cloaks and swords, in addition to this, they do more damage, and can also ambush by jumping out of the ground. Your task is to clear the marked areas from enemies. At the last point there will be a level 13 robot, but before you destroy it, it will start to run away. Follow him through the cave to the Desert housing – here the desert has not yet completely swallowed up the destroyed houses.
Jump down and run into the ruins of houses to the indicated point. There you will find a running robot. Chase him, simultaneously destroying enemy vehicles. Eventually, he will lead you to the crater. Going down to the bottom, the robots attack you. There will be more and more of them, do not let yourself be squeezed into a corner, run and shoot them. A cutscene will save you from a huge crowd of robots, which will begin after there are too many robots.
After the cutscene you will start a battle with the boss, which is a new kind of androids. Although it is not huge in size, it still poses a great threat. His strength lies in the fact that he adapts to each attack, as the battle progresses, he will increase his level and learn to reflect your shots. In the battle with him, try to stay closer to him and attack after a successful dodge, so you can easily defeat him.
Having won, the cutscene will start, when it ends, quickly run into the cave above to avoid a landslide. After passing the cave, climb up the cliff and move the metal box to go to the already familiar area. From here, return to the resistance camp.
After getting out of the desert and replenishing supplies in the resistance camp, go to the new mission area (it will be marked on the map after you leave the camp). You don”t have to run far, keep to the right side of the map and don”t miss the right turn, there will be a descent into the sewers. Go down the stairs.
It is difficult to get lost in the sewer due to the fact that there will be only one path, the rest of the passages are blocked. After getting out of there, go to the park gate. Walking through the entire amusement park is pretty easy. You can just run past all the robots, they will not attack you, but if you start attacking one, everyone else will become aggressive (with the exception of a few). After passing the main gate and climbing the steps, you will exit to the locked gate. Back out a bit and go through the open gate on the side of the main road.
Narrow streets will lead you to an idle attraction, with its help climb over the fence to another street.
After getting over the blockage, you will have to fight the tank. Defeating him will not be difficult, all you need is to jump onto the roof of the tank as soon as possible and destroy the robots sitting in it, so he will stop throwing energy balls, and it will not be difficult to finish him off completely. At close range, beware of hitting caterpillars and a shot from the main gun on the tower (difficult to dodge). After destroying the tank, go up the steps and go on one of the carriages. While driving, do not relax – while you are driving, you will be attacked by flying robots.
Boss: Opera Robot Singer
A giant robot resembling an opera singer attacks you immediately after a short cutscene. In the first stage of the fight, you need to dodge bullets and attack her (attacking the head or torso, you will do more damage than in an armored dress).
After receiving a large amount of damage, she will jump back onto the stage, and the bodies of other androids will appear. For a while, you will have to destroy these androids, which will try to hack you by firing beams at a large radius. If you do get caught, you still have a chance to escape, when the mini-game starts, shoot the black ball, destroying it, you will be free. After losing the mini-game, take a lot of damage. When the boss returns, the second stage of the fight will begin. Now, in addition to normal attacks, she will try to hack you, so try to dodge such rays, but rather run back. While waiting for the right moment to attack, do the maximum damage by combining light and heavy weapons. After winning, pick up the items on the floor and go outside. You will find yourself near those very locked gates, but now you can go through them. Immediately after them, talk to the robot who is waving a white flag, go with him to his village (agree to let him lead you).
The robot will take you to the Machine Village, which is inhabited by friendly robots. Here you will be greeted by Pascal, she is the head of the local community of robots who advocate an end to the long-term war. Talk to her and take the fuel filter. If you need to, there is an access point, an arms and supplies dealer.
Having replenished supplies, you can also take on additional tasks, of which there are many, and they are quite easy to complete. After you finish exploring the village, return to the resistance camp. To do this, cross the bridge back (where you spoke to Pascal) and keep to the left path.
After passing the path, you will find yourself at a destroyed house. After reaching the iron barriers, look for the passage there, which blocked the box. Slide it to open a shortcut between the Machine Village and the City Ruins. After speaking with the leader of the resistance, return to Pascal through the open cut. After talking with her, the attack of cars on the city ruins will begin, move to the indicated point.
