I drive a 2014 Chevy Silverado with manufacturing facility 22s and 285/45/r22 tires. I plan on putting a leveling kit ~ above it and also getting some bigger tires come beef it up a tiny bit. Thinking around a 3” leveling kit in the front v 1” block in the rear. (Just to run a 2” leveling kit in the front would be one option but I’ve heard you have the right to only acquire 33s under there)

A couple of questions: does anyone have any kind of experience v a setup like this? what’s the best size tires I might get? (I’m presume I might get 34s without rubbing). And also also, what room everyone’s recommendations on tread width? i’m wondering if I must stick through a 285/55/r22 or upgrade to miscellaneous a small wider?

I appreciate any kind of help!

You are watching: Silverado 3 inch lift before and after

Just installed a 3" motofab level kit on mine 2016 with factory rear. Upgraded come 20x12s (-44) with 33x12.5 mud tires. Take it a small plastic and also metal trimming to not rub. Before and also after pics below.

That looks yes, really good! ns went ahead with my lift and also actually put on the zone 3.5” combo kit- a 2” level in the front and 1.5” body blocks ~ above the front and also rear. I decided to go v the 35 x 12.50 R22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on stock offset and can not be more joy with exactly how it turned out. I had actually to trim mine fender liner to minimize the rub but I execute slightly rub the guide bar at complete turn (not a large issue for me). I do have a concern though: once you speak you had actually to perform some steel trimming to not rub, where precisely did you need to trim? ns contemplating grinding under my sway bar however I’m a small skeptical.. Could just find out to live through it. Pics below
