How does Overwatch 4v4 Team Deathmatch work?
Once again, out of nowhere, developers push out an update that contains a new competitive game mode called 4v4 Team Deathmatch. Just like any other arcade competitive game mode, this one features a Top 500 ladders and competitive points rewards.

How Does 4v4 TDM Work?
Team Deathmatch mode is a mode where there are no objectives, your team’s only goal is to secure as many kills as possible, with dying as little as possible. You can group up with a team with up to 3 players or queue up solo and let the game find your team. The first team to secure 30 kills wins the match. Simple as that.
How Does Competitive Play Work?
There is no role queue in 4v4 TDM mode, therefore, there are 10 placement games you need to complete in order to get your starting Skill Rating.Afterward, you can compete in competitive and increase your Skill Rating. Best of the best are able to compete for a spot in the Top 500 just like regular competitive. At the end of the season, rewards are given out in form of Competitive Points and sprays, however, it’s worth noting that the rewards stack up with the CP rewards you earn from the regular season, meaning you can earn more even if you’re hard-capped, therefore, why not use this chance to obtain more of the golden guns

Bronze – 40 CP Silver – 75 CPGold – 150 CPPlatinum – 300 CPDiamond – 450 CP Master – 750 CPGrandmaster – 1000 CP You will also receive a spray and a player icon for playing. For the absolute best, a Top 500 placing will earn you a Top 500 spray and icon.
